What are the differences in a 1938 chevy pickup rear fender and a 1946?

Is there a noticeable difference in looking at them?

'37 and '38 both have a raised lip about 1/2 inch wide and 1/8 inch high along the outside edge. The later year ones do not.

Been looking at pics of 38's and that is hard to see in truck pics. I will pay more attention when I look again.

Is that the only diff you know of?

I think the fender are different in length and maybe width??? Also, the bolt holes locations might be different too???
