| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 50 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 50 | Hey guys can one of you cut and paste the procedure, if you've got it handy?! I had downloaded it a couple times and my computer crashed recently and of course that was one of the files I didn't backup! My original 54 shop manual doesn't cover valve adjustment the same way the later books do, telling which intakes and exhaust to do at which flywheel positions. It's not much help at all really! Thanks for any help here. :o | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | Chevr aulait, 216/235/261 Valve Tappet Adjustment - mechanical lifters Check the Tech Tips link at the top of this page.
