I am thinking that if I can find a non-finned six bolt drum from an earlier year such as a 1970, it might just interchange. It's an 11 inch drum. I haven't checked shoe width yet, but I think 2 1/2. I know there are other solutions such as wheel spacers, but I'd rather not go that route.. Anyone else solved this problem?? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,885 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,885 | How much fin height would have to be machined off to make the wheels fit? Fins are pretty important for brake heat dissipation, so even a shortened fin would be better than none at all. Jerry
