Over the past couple of years, I've seen many discussions on interior paint for our AD's. But dang if I can find much of anything doing a search.
So I ask the great ones again, who have the knowledge, to put forth the color(s), code(s) and manufacturer(s). Mine is a 52' 5 window: if that makes a difference.
Also, what was the texture like? Hammered? Orange peel? Mirror smooth?
Single stage vs. clear coat?
Steering column, column gear shift?
A couple of years ago I wrote down PPG DDL3613, PPG DCC5558 for the interior and
Dupont DUP 8540 for the column, gear shift and wheel???
Thanks ahead of time,
-jeff

This is from a Dupont 1953 Chevy Truck Color Bullentin (I am pretty sure 52 was the same)...

Instrument Panel (All Models Except Suburban)

Sheen Gray Metallic
Duco Stock order Number 740

Rattletrap,

In all the ones I've ever seen the texture was smooth. However I'm going with hammered on mine. It hides imperfections and reduces glare.
