Hey guys,
So I bought what I believed was a NORS Pressure Plate that was advertised as suitable for a 1954 Chevy Truck. I guess I should have looked a little closer, because when I went to install, the bolt pattern is just slightly larger than the one on the flywheel. My question is whether other years pressure plates will fit a 54 235. I'd rather see if I can find another NOS or NORS pressure plate than new Chinese material.
Thanks!
Nico

1954 was the introduction year for the 6 mounting bolt pressure plate on clutches larger than 9".

That is something I didn't know until today.
Prior to 1954 pressure plates that use a clutch disc larger than 9" used 9 mounting bolts and 6 mounting bolts on 9".
In 1954 pressure plates started using 6 mounting bolts regardless of size.
