Hello 1 tons! I unloaded my "new" 51 GMC 9434 1 ton and began an inventory of good and bad. I need some pieces from it and want to part out the rest.
Question:
What should I be asking for a decent 51 9ft box? Yes, it's old. Sure it has a few dings and bonks but I've seen people start with MUCH worse and get it straight. I don't want to sell short, but don't want to rip people off either.
No fenders included. Non original tailgate. Perfect stake pockets, rotten bed strips and wood. Some home welding to attach a rear bumper plate. Some drilled holes.
Opinions?

Not sure we need to discuss pricing here...?

Generally.
Look at what new parts cost and adjust for condition, not available new so look at new smaller truck bed prices and extrapolate.
Also look at sold items on eBay.

Then location can affect pricing particularly for hard to ship items.

The appropriate section for parts for sale is the swap meet when your ready.

Hello Fox;
My 52 9430 build is very sloooowly moving along. Let me know what you are looking to get rid of and I'll look to see if I will be in need. PM me with details. By chance does it have a decent GMC tail gate?

Thanks
Mark

Please continue parts for sale/wanted discussions in the Swap Meet section or by PM as needed. Not in general forum sections.

Thanks,
Grigg
