I'm looking into buying a set of door hinges for my 61. LMC has them at half the price of everyone else. Has anyone bought these from LMC?

I havn't bought the hinges but have gotten other things and been happy with them. I think there are only a few manufacturers out there and everbody re-sells their parts. (One big one is 'counterpart.') So in most cases it'll be the same piece regardless of which retailer you get it from.

I check all the vendors, figure out what the parts will cost from each one including shipping and then buy from the cheapest.

What is wromg with the old hinges? are they rusted out?(doubt it!)you probably just need a pin and bushing kit. They cost about three bucks per hinge.unless of coarse they are worn beyond repair smile

Old ones are shot, time to replace. Just wanted to know if the cheaper ones were any good.
