Is there a list of the letter designations for our old trucks?? Just looking to educate myself so I know what folks are talking about when they reference the letters ie; AD,HC,etc.
Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

I know very little about your vintage of truck; however, here are some 1938 Chevrolet "Model Symbols" .

I think that those Model Symbols are the model letters show here (for Unit Serial Numbers - Vehicles)?

Thanks Bill that's exactly what I was looking for. Guess I should have hunted around a bit more but you saved me a lot of time.
Tim I already knew mine was a HC but had no clue what all the rest meant.
Thanks guys
Dave
