For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 10 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 10 | I just bot a '54 chevy and have now discovered, to my dismay, that the box is from an earlier truck. It has the sloped sides. Not to worry, this will give me a chance to locate and restoe the proper box and install it once cleaned up. So my question is:
What year long box fits? Is it '54 1st series only or can I look further? I realize the fenders are different after 55 but wonder if the box itself is the same. If you happent o have a surplus long box, I would be happy to hear from you also.
cheers.
