Howdy. Getting ready to unbolt my 38 stove bolt from its original original frame. Had a custom frame made for it and have an LS motor waiting as well. This is my first body transfer. Other than labeling and bagging everything, any top tips? Like take bed off first or ???
Make sure to run brake lines on new frame before you bolt on body??

Has anyone done as step by step write up of this process?

Thanks!

Will do. My second restore. First was a 46 3/4 ton. Learned a lot the hard way on that one. Hope not to repeat most

Well, I took my 40 down to bare frame and back up again
My approach would be complete the chassis, motor & trans install, rear end, suspension, brakes, plumbing, etc. first.
Then Cab shell, followed by front sheet metal. Bed last.
