It's been quite a while since I have been around, just recently offered to help a friend out with the glass on his '49. He purchased his glass from Vintage, and the windshield, rear glass and quarter glass gaskets from classic chevy. The Windshield moulding is puckering badly on the lower corners with the tighter radius. The quarter glass gaskets are not wide enough to cover the spot welds in the pinch weld. I installed glass for a living for about 7 years, I have been away from it now for about 4, but the last truck I did was a 51 model for a client, he found somewhere that actually sold a molded windshield, back glass and quarter glass gaskets that were one piece, not this universal equipment strip stuff that everybody seems to handle today. My question is do any of you veteran stovebolters know where the best place to buy the gaskets? I would really like to find the molded gaskets, but if that isn't possible I would like to at least find a quality gasket that I can make the radius turns around the glass without nasty looking puckers that have to be tried to glued down or cut and glued to make them lay correctly. This guy has a fortune in this truck to make it to this point and find out it is going to look mediocre because of the trim on the glass. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just another quick question Rich...did you use the Stainles trim or did you use the lock strip?
