I should have put this question here instead of the big bolts section. I need to put a floor mat in my '63 GMC 4000 truck. The floor in my truck has no hump. Will a floor mat for a '63 Chevy/GMC with an automatic transmission fit my truck? Are the floor panels the same? Thanks JP

I think all 1963 1/2 ton & 3/4 ton trucks have a hump. None are flat. To my knowledge, all the 1960-66 reproduction floor mats are molded for the hump.

There are no rubber matts available for what they call a 4 speed hump. The supplier no longer available. They do sell a 3 speed matt. Called "3 speed, small hump" for 60-63.

I just received the 4 speed carpet. All vendors are out of stock for the 4 speed rubber matt and have been for years. The 55-59 is the same situation. For my 1960 GMC, I almost bought the 3 speed and was going to split it in middle and add black carpet or something. Changed my mind.
Where do you see a 1963 rubber matt for "automatic" being offered? The 4000 has a different cab than 3000 and lower models. Don't know about the floor.

I guess I should have said there was a mat for a "column shift" pickup and not automatic. That's what I was afraid of that I wouldn't be able to use a pickup mat. Thanks for the info. JP
