For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 1,438 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 1,438 | I'm rewiring a '40 Chev and could sure use a picture of the inner fender panel so I can see what goes where. There are a couple of holes where the panel has been raised around the hole (or dimpled if looking from the other side). Not sure if anything attached there. Also curios how original wiring harness is routed to the panel. Probably thru '46 would be the same. Thanks in advance.

That answers that one. How and where is the loom attached to the inner fender?

If you look you will see that there is three or four holes that are below the mounting holes where the inner fender attaches to the fender. these holes are larger that the ones used to mount the inner fender to the fender. Good luck Jerry
My first prewar and it will not be my last. Done with the 40 for my best friend. Got a 46 (year I was born) to build for me.
