Looking for info on the production numbers and options. Getting a 49 1 ton and want to keep it original.

Welcome to Stovebolt.com, Paul,

There has never been 1949 Chevrolet Advance-Design truck production-number information posted on Stovebolt.com

Production-number information, by model/series/size of truck is available for 1950, 1952 and 1953 Chevrolet Advance-Design trucks.

Different sets of total truck production numbers are available for 1947-1955, but there are no GM documents backing them up. I think the different totals are because GM sometimes provided calendar year production, and sometimes model "year" production (from new-model introduction to new model introduction).
