During disassembly of my 53 discovered the R/H rear window outside trim is trash. Have had no luck finding a replacement. Not real sure what my options are. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

I swear I saw a pic where it seemed they used rubber in place of the metal trim but who knows.

One day, I'll find a decent replacement.
The trim, both outer and inner, show up now and again online. Sometimes here in the "For Sale" forum, other times on Facebook, etc. In fact, there is a specific group (or two) on Facebook just for 47-54 Suburbans and Panels. | | | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 328 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 328 | How about buying the reproduction door trims that are available
And carefully hand forming the rear section of the rearmost side glass to fit.
It looks to me that other than that rearmost section the dimensions would be the same.
You'd have to buy two per side it looks like.
