Got my T-5 totally installed and 100% finished and have not figured out how to install the original 37 floorboard in the cab. I see that I need to move the transmission shifter hole and the emergency brake hole, but I cannot get the floor board to lay totally flat in the recess hole of the cab. The floorboard hits the top, of the T-5. Anyone have any suggestions on how to solve or how you solved this problem? Thanks for any help!

how much is the interference? might be able to scraf [router or skil saw] out the bottom of the board - or might be able to cut out the board where it hits and lay another piece with beveled edges on top if it's only 1/2 - 3/4" - or cut it out and fab up a nice leather 'boot'

Keep cutting until it clears. If the hole is too large then adding a piece of metal with a hump might be what's needed.

Hammer and dolly time.

In my '51 3600, I cut a hole in the transmission cover plate just big enough to accommodate the rectangular top of the T5. It was nearly flush, but protruded just enough to not let the plate sit completely flat. I went to Lowe's and bought a 1ft piece off a roll of floor cushion mat for work stations. It's about half inch thick, rubbery, and basically made a perfect gasket if you will that pinches between that part of the T5 and the plate, sealing it. Taped it down with gorilla tape, and cut a hole just big enough for the "round" shifter arm cover. The boot from the original T5 covers it nicely and with carpet installed, it looks perfect.
