With guidance from a member, I was able to find a replacement rear yoke from North Western Transmission and get the drive line back together. I also replaced the rear transmission mounts, they were dry rotted and pulling apart. I thought after replacing those mounts, the clutch chattering that I have would go away but it looks like I need to remove the trans and investigate what is worn out. I have read stories to look for a worn pilot bearing as well as oil soaked clutch disk. I'll let you know what I find.

You might also find a loose input shaft, caused by worn out bearings. | | | | Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 374 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 374 | | | | | Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 5 New Guy | New Guy Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 5 | Greetings, I have not set up an account yet for pictures, when I do, I'll post a few. I have many projects going on and at this point I really do not have the time to continue to work on it. Besides clutch work I want to install a complete new wiring harness. The original on is in such sad shape I am afraid some of the wires could arc together and start a fire. Does anyone have a suggestion of a drop-in harness and still keep the 6 volt generator? | | |
