I've come across a few individuals that have encourged me to upgrade and changing/swap a rear end with disc brakes rather then spending $600 plus on a conversion kit. Also steering upgrades etc.Is there a web sight that would give options? I have a 55 first series 3100 that i want to do upgrades. If there are sites available that would be great.

you have a typo in your topic sentence, I do that all the time, no big deal, check with the folks here, they will give you straight answers or opinions then you can decide.

I am sure there may be sites for vendors and such
just tell folks here what you need or advice that you might need..

you gotta do it here... not sure if this is the correct forum
for this post but maybe Cletis will help out...

regards,
Fred

Modifications belong generally in the Hi-Po forum although some choose to use the Driveline forum for what you are describing. You will find those here who have done it all and are more than willing to share their experiences. shake

The Hi-Po forum is where we discuss "upgrades" from stock. A search will reveal many options.
