What brake line kit can I use to connect to the frame line. The brake lines are 3/16", the wheel cylinder thread pitch is 3/8-24, the thread pitch at the connector is 7/16-24. I noticed currie enterprises sells a universal brake line kit part number CE-6022. Has anyone installed this kit on their TF truck using a 28 spline ford 9"? does anyone know the thread pitch at the frame brake line end? Is the wheel cylinder thread pitch the same on the 28 spline and the 31 spline ford 9"? Lots of questions, TIA for any help.

The thread pitch on wheel cylinder of the 55 2nd series are the same (3/8-24) as the Ford 9" wheel cylinder. I transferred the hard lines from the Chevrolet differential to the Ford 9". The donor Ford differential is a 1972 Mercury Cougar 28 spline. I just rebuilt the Ford drum brake system with new wheel cylinders and hardware. So I can absolutely verify the thread pitch on the wheel cylinders. A conversation with a customer service representative at Sacramento Vintage Ford confirms the 31 spline Ford 9" and the 28 spline Ford 9" wheel cylinder thread pitch are the same 3/8-24 (same as the Chevrolet). Also this Chevrolet Wheel cylinder fits light duty trucks from 55 2nd series all the way up to 1973. So as you try to interchange a 28 or 31 spline Ford 9" into a Chevrolet truck, you'll know the interchange range.
