For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 37 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2015 Posts: 37 | My original 1955 series 1 Seat springs are completely rusted and falling apart. Im looking for new seats to install without a huge amount of fabrication Has anybody done this? I don't want to spend a fortune on after market seat frames and then have them recovered. What would be the best donor for a bench seat to look for as far as width and not having to do a lot of fabrication or removing the riser. I think I read where 1990 GMC bench seats 55 inches wide were good any ideas?
