You may want to consider applying the primer and paying someone to paint the color if you want a stunning paint job.

They will want you to use a certain primer, paint, reducer, etc. They need to all be compatible. Follow their advice.

I went to a big professional place and their weekend counter help was high school age and knew less than I did. They had no idea what I wanted to do or what to use. Go back during the week and talk to the guys that know.
