even though this hasn't went all the way through I call it cancer because it has progressed from just being surface rust to bubbling, and getting deaper into the metal.

Blasted, Soda, high output, trigger operated, gun, unnitrided. Just ask a GOOD body man to shot gun blast it #9 shot is what I would use in a case like this. I hope this is of some help. I've sanded a couple area's pretty good, and I've still got pits. it is not close to rusting through, but I'm going to have to get that metal pretty thin to get it all out, and it will take quite a bit of time. I've gone over it with the brush on my die grinder pretty good, but those things have limits. | | |
