The front and back rock/splash guards where recently removed from my '54 chevy 1 ton panel. The front guard is in good shape but the back guard is rusted thru and in bad shape, needing to be replaced. Question: what is the replacement part. It is not the same as the 3200, as that bumper is concave at the license plate. Is the '54 panel rear guard the same as the '53? I need to list in the parts wanted section for a rear guard.

You have a 3805, 1 ton Panel

And, there was a 3105, 1/2 ton Panel

The 1/2 ton and 1 ton bumpers are different, but the rear filler panel should be the same. Maybe someone with a 3805 will post a confirmation or correction.

No one makes a metal rear filler panel, bit some vendors used to sell a fiberglass panel. A rubber seal for between the rear filler panel and the rear bumper used a to be sold by Jim Carter and/or Classic Parts.

The panel-body rear filler panel was the same from 47-55.

thanks for the info. i knew when i posted, i had a typo and should have typed 3100. i know mine is a 3800, 3805 to be exact, and difficult finding parts for my big guy. but he certainly is handsome.

Recently Epay has listed two original rear splash guards for the Suburban. They may still be listed. They were starting at around 399.00 maybe less. I have a good memory but it's short.
