| | | | | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,989 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,989 | My 1957 LCF has two hood latches, don't have anything to compare to as far as smaller trucks, I have them both out of the truck to rework them, one would not release the hood and made it very difficult to open, you almost need three hands to operate and open the hood.

They changed the design in '58 making the latch common to all of the trucks.
