Looking for the seal no. most I am finding is the repair kit info. The engine only has 28,000 on it so I am going with the original.

Isn't the front seal the same one as a small block V8? The diameter of the balancer snout is identical, and I'm pretty sure the OD matches up as well.

Hy Guys, Hotrod Lincoln is correct, according to my Federal-Mogul catalogue the seal is the same for the "straight 6 & V8 1946 to 1967)" National p/n 6936S, hope that helps.

I have had a few different National numbers given me today the p/n 69365 didn't work for my guy. When I told him about being the same as the small block he was able to track it down. What he came up with is National K3517S.
I picked it up and it seems to be a match. Not sure why the other didn't work out but thanks guys for the info.
Another problem solved.

Hy laybacklenny, the National p/n I gave you (6936S) has an "S" as the last digit not a 5, a check of 6936S at RockAuto yielded a part description whereas K3517S yielded "no parts found"

Tried it with the 'S' at the end he still had no luck, I think I should have another look at it. I don't have the old one out yet I wanted to have the new one on hand before I removed it. The one in there looks like a two part seal I will pull it today and let you know. Thanks 3B for the heads up.

I think this is the seal under discussion?
If I am wrong, I apologize.

Note that Rockauto lists two front engine seals (timing cover seals). The wider seal serves to try to place the seal on an "unworn" location on the drive shaft.
