Can anyone steer my towards the procedure for alinging the steering on this old truck? I'm in the process of putting everything back together now.
I put the steering arm back on and centered the steering wheel and front wheels, then attached the drag link and snugged up the cups, is that as good as it gets? or is there a procedure i should follow? Or just make small adjustments after driving?

JLM,

Here's the procedures for the 1948-1951 Shop Manual.

Maybe similar to the 1946?
