I need to locate the metal "C" shaped channel that the cab windlace is mounted to around the inside of the cab door opening. Anybody know where I can locate pieces? I specifically need the front piece running from the floorboard up the front side of the cab opening to the top of the cab opening. The top and back side are intact. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 154 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2001 Posts: 154 | I was never able to find any, I resorted to sheet metal screws with decrative washers in this area to hold the rubber The problem is the channel is pretty well destroyed removing if not already rusted out. Mothertrucker also probably has the real deal in rust free AZ | | | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 85 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 85 | Hi Jerry, try Tom Myers Truck Parts in Miami Ok. I was missing a lot of the inside parts for my 46 1/2 ton and Mr Tom came thru with real nice, almost rust free parts. Very reasonably priced. Phone 918 543-3871 Tell him Ed in New Orleans told you about him.

I agree, you probably need to hit one of the used parts vendors. But a lot of the regular vendors sell used parts also. Just have to call around and see if they can help. | | |
