Top outlet (thermostat) to the inline shut off valve to LH inlet (looking at the back of heater core from engine compartment) on heater core.........RH outlet of heater core to bottom inlet on water pump.

I'll be putting inline shut off valve with cable to dash. We just don't know how the hoses should hook up to heater core. I would think the upper thermostat heater hose should have the inline valve cut in near the fender heater hose retaining clips then onto the LH heater inlet tube....?

The heater motor on the Harrison delux heater is12 volt but the wires from the motor go out through the rear of the motor. I have never seen that. In fact I have to push the wires back through the firewall into the cab to get to my rheostat switch. I guess your right what difference would it make on what hose the shut off valve is installed on. During the months we don't use the heater I always open the heater hose valve and run with the heater on. .....
