Here's the shopping spot. I did some research to see if we could get as good a quality of stuff that we get from CP but cheaper. By the time we factored in the silk-screening, it was running about the same. Problem with the silk-screening is that we have so many colors in our design.

THEN factor in keeping track of what everyone wanted ... one company had a pretty decent deal but we had to order a minimum of 12 of each kind (sweatshirt, hoodie, t-shirt), etc. That wasn't going to work.

So, you have more colors and types of toppings to choose from.

Maybe we'll have better luck with sweats ... there's not a lot of variety in them. Plus, Alvin has a great embroidery person down there. We could have it done later - like August, when it's real HOT. thumbs_up

Great job! I placed my order while wearing my "well worn" Winter Classic sweatshirt from 4 or 5 years ago.

Love it. I will order a couple ASAP. I do have one itsy bitsy question though. Is it possible to order with the logo on the back?
If not, no big deal.

Billy,

Can do easy, Amigo. Hoodie or regular? You want it just on the back instead of on the front, or do you want the JYT logo on back and regular ODSS logo on the front? (or vice versa).

Just tell me what you want on front and on the back and I will put up a second sweatshirt.

The sweat shirts are great and I am glad that they come in dark colors as well. Dirt and grime don't show up as well on dark colors then lights.

I asked the Misses to get me a few.

Keep in mind (if this is still the case), I think once you place an order, Cafe Press will send a $5 off gift certificate to a friend. You need to give them the email address of your friend. If anyone wants to do that ... why not start a PM so you all can *share* (it'll make it easier for everyone if you put the email address in the PM) ... once John orders his, we'll do that. We still need to order our calendar(s).

Also ... boy this is a very aside aside, we have had two requests for additional ODSS jackets. Just like the ones we all have. I think we can get to *that* after next week. Armatek (I think that's the name) keeps sending us magazines with sales. So, we'll wait for the jacket to go on sale to place the order. The printing set up is all still good at the local place here. So, this is "in the wind" but when it starts to come together, we will let you all know. smile

Oh gosh, then we can work on that other thing you all were talking about -- grin

JM, the big logo on the back and the small ODSS or Stovebolt on the front would be great. I prefer the regular sweatshirts but could be talked into a hoodie. I will probably order in black and maybe navy too!
Thanks John and Peg!

I'll also jump on Billy's bandwagon and a jacket if that happens.
It's easy to sell the warm duds to me, it's 11 degrees outside and has already hit the high for the day.

Alec, go to the Hoo-Ya Shop at the top right of the page and then down to the bottom of that page you will see the ODSS section. You can order from there once John makes the changes or adds the shirts with the logo on the back.

If you are looking for warmth, the last ODSS sweatshirt we made up in ... 2008 (?) is really warm. I think it was 90% cotton. When we were researching for similar product, we were going with the same warmth-factor. Hanes had a good deal during the holidays. When I went back for more detail, the 50% off sale was off. Boowahhh!

So, on the large selection available, check the product info. The "90/10 cotton/polyester blend by Hanes" is great and holds up. You all KNOW how hard John is on his playclothes. Well, the ODSS JYT 2008 sweatshirt still lives.

John's gone to pick up BIL from BWI. I think tomorrow, he'll be able to get the version two JYT apparel done. I'll be sure he clearly marks them so you know which is which without a lot of "shopping around" the ODSS section. smile

Okay, take a look now -- two versions of each -- Billy version and the Front Only version. Hooded/Non-hooded, light/dark and I even threw in some zippered sweat shirts.

Got my order in.
Billy's black sweat and of course the thong.
I wanted a black thong to match the sweat, but white is ok and will accent my full body tan this summer.

Thanks for your work!

All of the Apparel look really good you guys rock, but with oil prices dipping below 29.00 a bbl and the CDN dollar exchanging with the USD around 1.45 looks like I'll be rethinking the parts and Apparel orders for awhile. Hopefully we will see abit of a rebound before spring as I'm looking forward to advertising the Stovebolt brand.

Doyle,

Understand your plight. That has been our big complaint about Cafe Press - it IS quality merchandise (from calendars, posters to clothes) and you see that price of it at the checkout! They need to have a Dollar Store version. grin

OMG!!! Hambone actually bought something!! Call 9-1-1!! I am in full cardiac arrest. Possibly a Priority 4 ... DRT!!!

Of course, at these markups, he has a ways to go before he repays us for what he's done to Peggy's Gator over the years ... still a charred hulk out in the field, but what the heck, at least now he knows the difference between red and yellow fuel cans now ...

For those yet to order, this just popped up to me while working on the calendars:

Save 20% off orders from CafePress, excluding shipping charges, gift wrap charges, taxes and customs duties. Coupon code XOXO20 must be entered at checkout. Promotion starts on January 19, 2016, at 12:00 a.m. (PT) and ends on January 29, 2016, at 11:59 p.m. (PT). Offer applies only to orders from the CafePress Marketplace. Discount does not apply to Thermos(r) products, Monopoly and Scrabble boards, mousepads, flat cards, invitations, specially priced CafePress products, fulfillment products, bulk orders, or any product numbers starting in 030. Offer valid online at CafePress only, cannot be combined with any other coupons or promotions, and may change, be modified or cancelled at any time without notice. This promotion cannot be applied to past orders.

Now what exactly that does and does not mean, I don't know. But try punching in the code when you place your order and see if it works.

Answer: Indeed you need nothing at all.

Two little known facts concerning the '66 Chevy 4x4 truck:

Sweet, pilot, Cosmo the co-pilot motored the '66 to an estimated 86 mph during Winchester '14 out on Interstate 81! A Virginia State Trooper saluted as we went by his radar trap.

Chuck Norris recently called Hambone to tell him he wanted his '66 Chevy 4x4 back and Hambone said, "No".

Has president Cosmo ever lied to you fellas?

86 on the speedo or actual GPS speed? As we know speedo is not accurate and reads 5-7 knots slow.
The resonate frequency of the fenders occurs at a much lower speed and once above 57 the fenders no longer flap, they sail.
BY the way, 14 degrees f today and Ol flappy fenders starts right up and once cockpit is heated, rolls right on out.

We were made aware of the speedometer inaccuracy after the trip. Speed on the speedo was 77 if I recall.

Love that truck. Fenders and all.....

Flappy fenders was raised in this area, which means he is from hearty stock. It was 2 degrees here this morning... He would be in his element and the fenders would be frozen solid to the body.

Cosmo ... Whoopy do. Littler known fact: Earlier at Winchester, Grizzly (alone and unafraid) piloted Flappy to an indicated speed of 40 MPH... sideways. Chuck Norris called me with an offer of marriage. I said "No.... Sir."

(Note for File: When operated at high ground speed at 90 degrees offset from normal vector, fenders don't flap. My theory is because turbulent airflow across fenders and bed sides (x/y-axis rather than axial/z axis laminar flow) kills lift. Might need further study to confirm this intriguing indicated connection between aerodynamics and degraded structures...

Granted, he *was* Air Force, but still ...

Sweat shirt got here yesterday, but without the thong.
It should be here in a couple days.

In the mean time, here is some info on Missouri thongs.

We have a thong tree on our property. It's the only tree I could find that we could possibly put a tire or rope swing in. (None of our trees have strong lower branches for some reason.) I thought the "bent" tree was good enough to throw the rope at the crook and just show the kids NOT to go banging into the trunk.

Cool story on what they are.
