For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 5 Member | | Member Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 5 | I have a 1954 GMC Deluxe Cab Hydramatic that I want to keep stock. I know by the paint on the exterior that it was blue. Would like some ideas on how the typical interior colors were for this cab? Any ideas where I can find the color schemes and pictures of what they may have looked like originally?

I do not know if he is still on this forum, but he has a website: www.oldgmctrucks.com I am sure he can help with the answer. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 793 Bondo Artiste | | Bondo Artiste Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 793 | Yes, send Rob a e-mail and he will get back with you, he knows a ton about these sweet old GMC trucks.

For my next project this is the truck I want a 54 or 55 with the Hydra-matic I just need to convince the wife she needs one.
I agree Kook is missed on this site.

I would assume that the door panels would have also been brown, but the truck has the optional woodgrain door panels (that are a bit faded after 50 years - not sure if they are salvageable). If the steering wheel was painted, it wore off many years ago.
Hope this helps. | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Here's a picture of a blue one on Ebay | | |
