I have a 1954 GMC Deluxe Cab Hydramatic that I want to keep stock. I know by the paint on the exterior that it was blue. Would like some
ideas on how the typical interior colors were for this cab? Any ideas where I can find the color schemes and pictures of what they may have
looked like originally?

Rob English, aka old car kook, is the man to ask that. I do not know if he is still on this forum, but he has a website: www.oldgmctrucks.com
I am sure he can help with the answer.

Sandy do you have pictures of these trucks?

For my next project this is the truck I want a 54 or 55 with the Hydra-matic I just need to convince the wife she needs one.

I agree Kook is missed on this site.

My '54 GMC Deluxe 1-ton Panel has a two-tone tan and brown interior - most of the metal was tan, but the seat, gauge surrounds, headliner and interior trim were brown. I would assume that the door panels would have also been brown, but the truck has the optional woodgrain door panels (that are a bit faded after 50 years - not sure if they are salvageable). If the steering wheel was painted, it wore off many years ago.

Hope this helps.
