frown Might anyone have the paint code for bumpers on the 59 Chev Apache 31. Near as I can tell the color was called Arctic Beige and it is a slightly off white color. Thanks in advance.

I was under the impression that all second colors were Bombay Ivory? Bumpers, hub caps, tailgate letters, etc... would all be this color.

How much difference is there between Bombay Ivory and a regular ivory that i could buy from a spray can at WalMart/AutoZone/AdvancedAuto/NAPA/etc?

Bombay Ivory I know was used as a body color but the 58 truck data book I have states that Arctic Beige was used exclusively for trim parts i.e. bumpers, grill, headlight bezels etc. My 59 however had the grill and bezels painted the body color, Pure White, but the bumpers were the Arctic Beige. Trying to accomplish a correct resto here so any help/advice is appreciated here.
Perhaps Bombay Ivory and Arctic Beige are a close match (?). Then again there is the possibility that the trim color changed between 58 and 59. Anyone out there with a 59 truck data book or the correct color/code for 59 truck trim?
Bruce

59Apache38, hey you were right! cool I just got a look at a 1959 book today and trim color on 59's is Bombay Ivory. Seems that GM did indeed change the trim color for 58's and 59's  Or maybe just the color name you think? grin
Thanks for your info but PLEASE next time use a BIGGER HAMMER wink
