I am in the process of reassembling my truck after metal fab work, and was wondering what the maximum shimming anyone has had to do to the front mounts to get the front fenders and hood to align. I have gone up a good ways, and just wanted to get an idea of whether i am barking up the wrong tree to get the thing lined up.

Get the cab square and level to the frame then set doors then fenders then hood.

They are very exacting, and dictate the position of holes for the steering mast/brake/clutch/accelerator pedal shafts, as well as the basis for which to properly attach the front clip.
