There are no other numbers on the body. Generally, I see early 1950s 216/235 water pumps with the casting number "839403" on the radiator hose inlet. Can anyone shed some light on my pump number? | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,262 Bubba - Curmudgeon | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,262 | The water pump body would be 839403 for probably 1941-through 1955-1st series (small Chevrolet trucks, at least).
What is the size of the pulley groove? 1953 through 1955-1st had a 3/8" groove
Different groove sizes and pulley diameters were used in different years and on car vs trucks.
Maybe someone knows GM 2932 A? | | | | Joined: May 2015 Posts: 39 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: May 2015 Posts: 39 | It does have a 3/8" pulley groove | | |
