About a year ago I posted a number of pretty naiive questions about converting my recently acquired '53 3100 to 12 volts. I got a lot of help here & some strong advice to step back & learn more about auto electrical systems before I did something dangerous. I took that seriously & have learned alot in a year. One of my best resources was a small booklet called "Basic Auto Electricity" that I found at Chevs of the 40s. It "dumbs down" some fundamental issues & is very readable. I finally understand relays after reading this & thinks it's well worth the $8.00 I paid. If you're as dense about auto electricity as me you might find this worthwhile. FYI

I haven't seen the book but it sounds like great advice. It amazes me what some of the uneducated people post about what they've done to their electrical systems. If you know nothing about electrical systems don't touch anything until you have educated yourself.
