I have the exact same set up and it's a piece of cake. I'm running the original 46 bell housing which bolts right up to the 261 (kept stock flywheel and pressure plate 11" Astro van disc). Front mount is the stock 216 piece. I'd use the adapter plate for the water pump that allows you to use the old 216 type water pump, this solves lots of issues over the 261 pump. Pre68Dave sells these on ebay.

I also have an adapter plate between bellhousing and T-5, may have to do a google search for those, mine was made by a local machinist. Best of luck
PS, make sure your 261 is set up for full pressure oiling, there's a pin near the big 1/2"npt oil outlet that MUST be pushed in to allow ALL oil to be routed to external filter.

How did you support the side of the pedal/master cylinder bracket, which normally bolts to the side of the transmission in half ton trucks (in addition to the bell housing)?

I only bolted the bracket to the bell housing. Actually the first trans I used had side shifting rods so I had to trim away that side, it's been fine for over 20 years. If there is room on side of T-5 you might be able to fab a bracket. I made a simple bracket to attach the park brake handle to the passenger side of the T-5, fit perfect through the original hole in the floor.

Also if you can send me your email I can send some pics.

Are there pictures of the motor mount install? Front and bellhousing side mounts?

Appears the bell housing goes on before flywheel, or you can't get to the bolts inside the bell housing to block? Where is there picts, video, or step by step of bell, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, tranny install?
