I put 16" rims on my 3/4 ton. Now the tie rod ends are right up against the edge of the rims. Does anyone have a fix for this?

What did the wheels originally come from?

They were Chevy pickup, 80s or 90s style.

This body style? If so, the backspace is too deep for the older trucks.

That's what I suspected. The backspace is too deep on those wheels. A spacer, like Denny mentioned, should work.

Your title says 17.5 rims, no mention?

"Your title says 17.5 rims, no mention?" I replaced them with 8 lug 16" rims.
