On my 59 Apache step side, looking for a replacement key switch. All I can find have OFF - ON - START. My truck has stomp start, so I don't need a start circuit. Slide connectors on the back don't match up to new switches anyway.

Like to keep it as close to original as possible....

Thanks

Ebay. You'll want Delco-Remy Ignition Switch (GM)1116522 (Delco)D-1406. It may be different for '59, so do your homework on that.

Take your current switch out, and look at it to make sure the terminals match up to anything you purchase. If it is original, it should have a number on it (mine says "522")

UB,

I believe the GM number is 1116522 (55-59 COMM., UTIL. (6 cyl.)(12 volt)(exc. DD, H.T.).

Tobztub59,

PM me if you are interested in a good used 522 switch.

Yep, Mike has the correct part number listed.
Thanks for catching that one...

Delco-Remy D-1406- 1116522 Ignition switch pictures.

Not that looking at these pictures will change the part number, but the terminal locations are key. Pun intended.
