Every time I think I have the choke set, the next time I start the truck up it goes to no choke, slow idle, but after it runs a while it goes to some choke which makes the truck idle faster. It is a after market choke ,NAPA. Went to electric because of electric wipers. You must have something backwards. I have had problems with the choke comeing back on but that is in real cold weather when the fan blows cold air on it.

The spring on the electric choke was going the wrong way. Looked at the water choke that came off and it was wound going left and the electric one was wound right, so remove the spring turned over reinstalled now everything is good. root | | |
