hi.

I have a 2nd series 3100 and was wondering what options other forum members have used for a third safety brake light - one that doesn't look bad and out of place.

I have seat belts that I am going to install as well.

thanks in advance.

Inside the ends of the bed rails. Places such as LMC sell the kits or you can make your own. Many here have done the install both with regular bulbs and LEDs. Easy job and it looks kind of cool.

Here's mine. Another shot of it (ignore the mess).
It's a Hollywood Accessories Safty Lite, an original '40s-'50s accessory item. They still pop up from time to time on Ebay, anywhere from used to new in box (mine was the latter).

Thanks Gus, looked for an hour yesterday for that and couldn't
find it. Thing that's one of the best on the market.

Sorry, don't have any link to LMC. There have been several of the guys here who have done it. There was a discussion in one of the forums not too long ago about it. Try the search feature at the top of the page. Maybe some who have done it will chime in soon.

Well if you mean by "done it" making your own bed roll lights,
yep I "done it". Not quite as fancy as the after market ones
but just as bright and all they cost me was a couple of cheap
flash lights and a couple PVC plumbing fittings:
