The info. shared does not include installation sheets on the Fulton 1000 series. I will turn to Tim's eBay reference if nothing surfaces here.

The first link references the 1000 series.

I notice the reference to the 1000 series. I do not see instructions for the 1000 series. I only see instructions for the 800 series. If I am missing the 1000 series instructions, please point me in the proper direction! I am new to the world of wearing bifocals now! Thanks.

That tells me the instructions are for the 1000 series as well. Especially since it seems the only difference is the chrome strip.

The 1000 series windshield center divide bracket is different. The side mounting brackets are also of a different design. One of the connecting rods for the panels is flat, not round like in the 800 series. The directions listed in the link are not for the 1000 series visor.

Do you have a picture of the 1000 series visor? By "connecting rod" are you referring to the drilled & tapped rods that allow for width adjustments? What are referred to here as connection yokes in Step 1.

There are two connecting yokes--one is round, the other flat. I do not have pictures of it at this time to share. I am away from the visor until next weekend.

I ran into this NOS Fulton 1000 visor (not in its original box) the other day. It is complete minus the installation instructions. It was too nice to pass up and the price was fair. As a result, I am looking for a copy of the installation instructions.

I also have a very nice Fulton 800 series visor sitting on the shelf in the shop as well. One of these visors will eventually be installed on my truck. The visor not installed will be sold. This is all true unless I should come across the rare GM Accessory visor from 1953--you never know!

Neat, I haven't seen one before. The brackets look to me to mount the same way even though they look different. The key is to take your time and get another set of hands to help hold things in place while you test fit. The Fulton I have on my '38 has end brackets that were made for a different application but they are made of malleable aluminum so we were able to make it work and look like it belongs. Mount the brackets to the visor then hold the visor to your truck. When it looks right & fits right you're home free, mount it there. Just make sure you have 2-3 inches open across the back for air to pass through. If you mount it tight to the roof it'll act as a parachute and the first time you go too fast it'll get damaged.

I am getting a copy of the Installation Instructions mailed to me from Loupee Stuff Classic Car Parts for $10.00.

The mounting advice is greatly appreciated. I would not want to damage the visor (or truck), or worse yet, lose it and cause an accident.

Now I just need to figure out which visor to use, and which visor to sell. I will get that figured out this fall. Decisions-decisions!

That is the same bracket I have yo have to loosen the 3or 4 screws on your windshield center strip and slide the bracket under the edge and just tighten it up enough so it will hold in place but can be slid up and down the visor needs to be attracted when you do this so you can see where the side bracket will be. I did it by my self but would have been easier with 2 people. Fun fun fun good luck
