Can anyone tell me what color the inside of the front and rear fenders were? Im assuming they were semi gloss black like the inner fender but could have been body color.

1952 3100?

Semi-gloss black, maybe with a light amount of exterior color "over-spray"?

I think it was actually flat black primer with over spray around the edges then the rust-proofing. Same as under the hood except no rust-proofing.

Although, if you drive your truck, not undercoating them could be a mistake. Rocks kick up and cause Stars in the paint. Happens even on paved roads. My plan for that right now is to try 3M Body Shutz.

I don't have the name brand handy, but I went with a rhino/tuff liner(?) bed spraying kit for the inner fenders. Tinted the same as the body color so there'd be less overspray worry. Kit was $120, and we just allowed for an extra pint or so to tint with when we were ordering the paint.

Not factory original material or color, but my thought process was along the line of what Deve's saying above.

Just if you're looking for ideas...

Brad
