Hi.... I am new to this paint thing and had a couple questions. A buddy of mine gave me a gallon of primer.It had no label but, Corlar 825s primer was written on the can. He thinks dupont makes it. Has anybody used this or heard of it. Is it any good. I want to keep the truck in primer. it is completely disassembled and i am getting ready to do the body work. Thanks in advance for any help or info.

Corlar is a vrry high quality epoxy primer used in the fleet industry. It is VERY tough stuff. But I would not trust that it is in good condition. You are putting WAY too much work and money into your truck to "save" a hundred bucks or so by using that gallon of ? who knows what.

Start from scratch and buy what ever you need and leave the gambling to your trip to Atlantic City. smile
