| | | | Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 9 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 9 | I replaced the old Carter with a 32/36 from Langdon and it works fine as long as it gets fuel. My problem is that efter running for a while and then stopping the fuel line empties out and it gets hard to start.
I have an inline fuel filter (as recommended) an a one way valve after the fuel pump. To solve it for now i put a manual primer pump (think outboard motor..) just before the carb and when i prime it, there is no problem starting.
To much heat, vapor lock???
The filter is sitting far away from the engine and it doesn't get hot.
