........ when I restored my 1951 3104 I wanted to along the way make this as quiet a ride as possible. I used DYNAMAT through
out the cab. THAT is a pretty straight forward thought to quet the ride. It's a BIT expensive and so many have used a single or
double sheets of house construction window wrap. this is als called 'peel n seal'' ....... it's a product that is used under siding
after the windows are installed. it sheds water away for
entering the house.

As I thought about where can I add some more ways to quiet my ride I made a visit to Capital Rubber Company, Sacramento, Cal ...
...... maybe you have a locat rubber co. that can get you what i used.

I simply bought scrap pieces of [ in this case ] 1/4'' or 5/16'' hard rubber in about 2-3'' strips. these were placed BETWEEN
the newly made OAK wood blocks under the bed of the truck

and

under the main CAB to frame bolt locations
