i brought home my dad's 1948 chevy sedan delivery after being stored for 32 years. he bought it in 1974 and i last drove it in 1983. it spent 5 years at the body shop but was never finished. i have a few question on ordering the master cylinder and wheel cylinders.

It looks like passenger car and 1/2 on truck hoses were the same, and front and back were the same?

No need for a gift, joey, but thank you.

Maybe someone else with correct/confirm/comment about the hoses?

achipmink -- thansk, it is a big smile to finally have this vehicle on the road.
the rains finally came to the great white north and the power went out which is normal. with no power life goes on in the Kingdom because i have my gas powered welder which means life is normal.
i needed to cover the hole in the roof that was cut for a sunroof because a hugh icecle fell from a building and pushed the roof in back in 1974. my late dad decided to correct the problem quickly by putting a sun roof in which made the problem worse. he even saved a roof from a 4 door sedan car to be used to fix the hole in the roof but nobody can find the repalcement roof after the estate sale. plus i live 1200kms at the end of the world so getting another roof will be like getting a mail order bride.
i took the hood from a 1985 chevy that i made a trailer out of and cut the hood so i had the centre rib for strength. i then used self tapping screws, silcone and splashed some paint on it to make it last until the roof can be repair properly in the future.

thanks guys, if i lived in the south this project would be a whole lot easier, lol.
we are having a 3 day rain here in the great white north so it was another day in the shop. i removed any thing orginal and put it in storage for when this vehicle gets a complete restoration after i win big in the lottories. i then made a bracket for the master switch and all the switches to turn things on because i'm staying away form the orginal items. since i'm colour blind my wire of choice is black. i got the turn signals wired in, brake lights and the tail lites with back up lites too since in the winter we are in darkness more then in day light. all the wires for everything up front has been ran and marked for when the fenders go back on.

That's a sweet ride and I've always loved those back doors on the old sedan deliveries. Keep us posted.

thansk guys, if it was not for the help on this BB the project would not have gone so quickly. the online ordering of parts and getting the correct parts sent to the end of the world sure makes it nice. 20 years ago this project would have taken a long time with ordering parts and making lots and lots of phones to get part. once again thank you very much.
i was late for lunch at the cafe so i ended parked in the back. the ford truck makes my chevy look even better.
