If you follow the lead of the previous owner of my truck, all you need is a little under one gallon of bondo, a quart of resin and sloppily applied loose fiberglass.

Or maybe duct tape it then fill the inside of the cab corners with foam insulation.

I've recently seen hvac duct work taped in with hvac tape. Looked like a crocodile cut the pattern, too...

If'n you want to fix it right, I was recently talked through how to fix my rear fenders here in this Paint/Body forum. I think I made all the mistakes possible (only so others could read along & do their patchwork correct the first time.) grin

You've got some nice trucks, though. That's one interesting bumper as well.

Thanks Brad. I have the bumper off now and I cut those big square chunks of iron off. I'm working on the rust now. I'm getting better with the wire feed so now I don't have to do as much grinding. The hole in the cab corner is bigger than the LMC patch so I have to make up the difference with sheet metal. I think this will be my last truck. I'm getting so I enjoy driving them more than working on them.

I used a piece of a correct-gauge electrical box/fixture for the 3" tall, 6" long portion the vendor patches did not cover on one of my corners.

I have an old file cabinet. I'll bet that will work.
