does anyone know anyplace in phila,pa to put my truck back together. i am getting old and a little frustrated. it's a 1952 chevy 1 ton truck. i am not sure if i am in the right forum to ask. also what would be a fair price. thanks guys

That is about average per hour price in our area. Doesn't include replacement parts though. Hopefully you can get a schedule from them of what you are having them do on the truck
and hopefully you can pay on a step completion time frame.
Also, depending on time involved, stop by every couple of weeks to check on the progress.

Stay in their back pocket as much as you can. Don't just write them a check without getting an ITEMIZED ticket to go with it.

Stop by without warning whenever you can so you can get an idea just how many projects they are doing at one time. You sure don't want to be paying for them to work on someone else project.

Be prepared to remove the truck from their shop if work is not progressing to your satisfaction. They need to know how serious you are about getting it done.

Let them know up front what you expect from them and hold them to it.

NEVER tell them you are in no hurry. That is an automatic green light to move your truck to the back corner and move on to quicker turn around projects for them.
