They dipped the cab, doors, grill surround, and inner door panels and primed them with PPG DP90 epoxy primer. They did an outstanding job. The cab & parts look great, and I only found a few new holes in the metal. Before the dipping, I was not sure how much rust there really was. The body parts are in much better shape than I expected!! I highly recommend Nor Cal Stripping.

Here's my question. You said that after the chemical stripping, the parts were coated with epoxy primer. Does this primer get in the way of performing more metal work? For example, if you found you had to weld in a patch panel, what would you have to do about the primer?

You could have at least swung past my house in Menlo Park and grabbed my cab as well. Two cabs on a trailer would look real cool. Actually, just kidding but if I was to go that extreme, I'd probably haul my cab up to Windsor as well. Besides they have some really nice wineries to visit.
