| | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 | I am installing a Clifford 4 barrel manifold on a 261 and realize there is shift linkage interference with the column shift. We are swapping the trans to a floor shift, so we will be ok. But, I am wondering what others may have done if they had the same problem.
Any thoughts?

I am going to run into the same problem as I am going to hang a 4-71 blower off the side of BillyBob's 235 stovebolt. I plan on following Deve's instructions to mount a 3-speed floor shifter like a top-loader.

Seems to me I saw a 235, maybe 261, blower set up recently. I'll have to look into that too.
